Ozzie was a wild and crazy guy!  When all of our Siberians were getting older and we had nothing left to show, Melanie called Michele (Rockland) and said, "do you have anything for me to show?"  Oz was two years old and had not been out in the show ring yet, so he came to Melanie for training and showing. Melanie admits though that in the show ring, Oz was the team and she was the sled!

Oz (Ch. Topaz the Wizard) was bred by Topaz (Cheryl French) and owned by Michele Szczepanski and Melanie Schlaginhaufen during his show career in the US. At the age of 9 years old, he is still winning in the Veteran's class with his new owner in Italy. It was an honor to be part of the start of his show career in the US.  He left behind several beautiful girls he sired while at Rockland, as well as Khovaki's Black Pearl (Precious), who is co-owned by Joni Barnhardt and Melanie Schlaginhaufen.
