You can help!

Every day I receive emails about dogs in shelters, usually dogs who have no options for rescue because all the rescue groups are full.  Many times, these dogs are purebred Siberian Huskies.  Today the SOS was about a blind Siberian, only 4 or 5 years old, who needs surgery to remove one of his eyes.  Thankfully, a foster home and rescue have come through for him, but donations are still needed to help with vet bills.  Not all of us can adopt, but all of us can help in some way....even small financial donations can add up to make a life or death difference!  The dog in the photo is one of our own mixed breed dogs, whom we adopted after fostering her a couple of years ago.  She was dropped off emaciated at a shelter, and had pups the same day.   Can you tell she is a happy girl now?

When you are ready to add another canine companion to your family, please look first at your local shelter, or contact an animal rescue organization in your state.  Listed below are some of the non-profit organizations we have worked with in the past. Please open your heart and give generously to help these groups help more animals...your financial contributions are always greatly needed and appreciated.  Together, we can make a difference.
